My name is Olivia and I’m a former alcohol connoisseur! I used to be the wine-aholic friend who made a stiff drink and always had the best alcohol-related recommendations. Drinking was a big part of my life in social situations (everyone can use just a little drink to loosen up, right?), date nights (what’s more romantic than sharing a bottle of expensive wine?), game days (you can’t watch football without a beer), and unwinding after long days (I deserve a glass of wine after the day I’ve had).
Unfortunately, it seems that my relationship with alcohol is more of a love/hate, we are never getting back together kind of thing. I guess you could say that my body didn’t seem to like it as much as my mind did, but really whose does? Alcohol is inherently bad for us, whether we want to admit it or not. But I’m not quite ready to give up all the good things that come with it. I still want something to drink at happy hour with friends or to relax after work.
And thus, this blog was born! I’m on a mission to find drinks that can give me all the good parts of alcohol, without the actual alcohol (A.K.A. the bad part). I hope you will join me on my quest to find the best (and possibly the worst) non-alcoholic drinks! Let’s get bubbly & boozeless!
