Review: Prima Pavé Blanc de Blanc

For my first review, I really wanted to do one of Prima Pavé’s sparkling wines because it’s one of, if not the brand, that’s impressed me the most. This Blanc de Blanc may as well be alcoholic – it’s that good. To anyone who thinks non alcoholic sparkling wine is just carbonated grape juice, I challenge you to try this wine and find a single fault.

This Blanc de Blanc is crisp and refreshing. I could drink this wine all day (and imagine myself on a terrace in the Tuscan countryside while I do). This wine is handcrafted in Italy, using only Italian grapes. It’s a dry sparkling wine with the same characteristic effervescence you would expect from a sparkling wine or champagne.

Bottom line, I love this sparkling wine and so has everyone I’ve forced to try it (including those with the option of alcoholic sparkling wine). It’s a little on the pricier side, but it’s within my range for a special occasion or celebratory bottle. I bought it at a specialty Italian market, but it’s also available at Williams Sonoma or online at Prima Pavé’s website. I highly recommend you get a bottle and try it for yourself! Let me know what you think in the comments!
